My Electricity supplier is changing from Economy 10 to Economy 7, what do I need to do on my heater?

When changing electricity tariff from Economy 10 to Economy 7, the electricity meter should be updated by the energy supplier to reflect the correct off-peak times of the new tariff. The energy provider should inform you of what those times are. 

Storage heaters with two supplies should not be affected as the off-peak supply should be switched on by the electricity meter, only when electricity is at the cheap rate. If you believe this is not the case, contact the energy billing provider for further clarification. 

Quantum heaters on a single supply will need to have the off-peak times re-entered into the heater. Hold down MENU + ADVANCE to access the Advanced Menu. Select “Charging” then “Charge Times” and check the times entered reflect the off-peak times advised by your energy provider. Check that the heater clock is set correctly (Press Menu, Select “Settings”, then “Date/Time” and make sure the clock is correct).
