Can I set demand heat / extra charge at night on my Quantum heater?

Yes. If you select the extra charge function it will force the heater to take some charge overnight regardless of the temperature.

To set see steps below:

1) Press and hold Menu and Advance together

2) Highlight Charging and press Enter 

3) Highlight Additional Charge and Enter

4) Turn dial clockwise and select hours up to 7 hours extra charge.

1) Press and hold the dial to access the Info Menu

2) Scroll down to Extra Charge and press the dial

3) Select the number of hours extra charge required and press the dial.

The heater will add that number of hours on top of the calculated charge. i.e if the heater calculated a charge of 90mins and you selected 1 hour extra charge it will charge for 2.5 hours.

PLEASE NOTE: By setting an extra charge, the heater will be using more off-peak electricity and running costs will increase, but in return for greater warmth.
