How do I enable Slave Mode on my Quantum heater?

This setting modifies the charge algorithm to prevent under-charging when enabled. We recommend enabling this mode when there is another heat source in the room.


If more than one storage heater is installed in the same room, it is recommended that the smallest capacity heater(s) is set as a Slave. This is disabled by default.


To enable Slave Heater Mode, follow these steps:


  • Press and hold Menu, Back and the Dial for the Service Menu
  • Turn the dial to highlight Slave Mode and press the dial
  • Turn the dial to Enable and press the dial
  • Slave Mode is now enabled


Please note that enabling Slave Mode may cause your heater to increase its charge level. Therefore this may cause higher electricity bills.
