Quantum storage heaters will charge automatically when they receive power through their off peak connections.
If your Quantum has been installed with two power cables, the off peak electricity will be available for the times that the off peak has been timed to based upon your off peak tariff. Therefore you do not need to set any charge times.
If your Quantum has been installed with a single power cable (Single Supply) there will be power available to the off peak connections at all times. Therefore charge times will need to be set in accordance to your off peak tariff times as follows:
1. Enter ‘Advance Settings’: Press and hold Advance/Menu buttons at the same time for 5 seconds
2. Select ‘Charging’
3. Select ‘Charge Times’
4. Set charge times by turning the dial and pressing the dial to move to the next time (The factory default times are 00:00 - 00:00)
The timer is a 24hr timer so the first minute of the day needs to be the start time. In the below example the off peak times run between 11:30pm and 6:30am. The charge times are set as 00:00 - 06:30 and then 23:30-23:59.
