What do the Power LED colours mean on the Dimplex Hub?

Modified on Thu, 9 Feb, 2023 at 11:03 AM

Applicable to models: Dimplex Hub, Dimplex Control App

The Dimplex Hub power LED will change colour, depending on what the hub is doing.

A Green power LED = powered on and no power issues.

An Amber power LED = powered on and the backup battery is charging. This is normal and the LED should switch back to Green once the backup battery is fully charged.

A Red power LED = powered on but there is a fault. For example, if your hub becomes disconnected, the power LED may turn Red. Try powering the hub off, then back on at the wall adaptor, then allow the hub to try to reconnect to the internet.

If you see the Ethernet or WiFi LED turning blue after power on, then there may be a network connection issue causing the fault.

A missing backup battery can also produce a Red power LED, but that is not a fault, as the Dimplex Hub can continue to work plugged into the mains, with no backup battery fitted.
