Can I heat the room outside of the pre-determined comfort times on DTB2R?

Yes via the override function on the DTB2R controller, to toggle between Comfort to Eco. Comfort delivers a warmer room temperature than Eco will. Comfort is shown as a Sun symbol and Eco is shown as a moon symbol. The override button is the top left button.
