I have a new internet router and my Hub is now not connecting to the app. How do I resolve this?

Applicable to models:  Dimplex Hub, Dimplex Control App

 

When you have a new internet router, your Hub will still be trying to connect to your old router. As a result, the Hub not be able to connect to the app. The DimplexHub will have a red power light, which signifies that there is no internet connection.


The Hub must be told to connect to the new router. To do this, you will need to change your Hub's connection via the Dimplex Control app.

 

Open the Dimplex Control app, log in, select "Hubs" along the bottom of the screen then tap on "..." icon to open the Hub Settings screen. Select "Change Hub connection" and follow the steps in the app.
