My Simply Silent 6" fan is making a ticking noise, how do I resolve?

Issue: 

Fan makes a ticking noise when running. 

 

What this means:  

The impeller is likely catching on a label and/or side of the fan body.   

 

Action

In guarantee- Isolate the power supply to the fan and remove the front cover. Check to ensure there is no obstructions to the impeller, if there are no obstructions If the issue remains, it could be an indication that the motor may be misaligned, which a replacement fan is then required.
