My panel heater screen has Error code 1 or Error code 20 and the screen may be flashing Red. How do I resolve?

Issue: Error code 1, Error code 20, Red Flashing User Interface screen.

What this means: A flashing red screen with Error code 1 or Error code 20 means the room temperature sensor on the heater is misreading.

Action: Please ensure the heater is not covered up or obstructed in any way (refer to instructions for the required clearances for your exact model of heater- https://www.dimplex.co.uk/support/guides)

Power the heater off at the wall and allow it to cool down, then power it back on again. If the error reappears it could be a faulty room sensor or ACC PCB. See below.
