None of my Nobo Orion 512 controlled panel heaters are working – they are all cold and refuse to heat up. What should I check?

Carry out the following steps:

  •  On the Orion 512, push the slider switch to “SET PROGRAM”.
  • Press the ZONE button until Zone 11 is shown
  • Press the DAY button and for each day, check that the 0 to 24 LED bars are all RED. If any of the LEDs are GREEN press the RED program button repeatedly to change all the LEDs to RED for that day. Repeat for each day of the week, checking all LEDs are RED.
  •  Press the ZONE button until Zone 12
  • Press the DAY button and for each day, check that the 0 to 24 LED bars are all RED. If any of the LEDs are GREEN press the RED program button repeatedly to change all the LEDs to RED for that day. Repeat for each day of the week, checking all LEDs are RED.
  • If any of the time LEDs are GREEN in Zone 11 or 12, that would place the whole system in a Shutdown or Frost protect state, giving little to no heat for that time period.

• Slide the switch to OPERATION once both Zone 11 & 12 are checked.

If you use devices such as Internet Home plugs (devices to send internet across the mains), these will interfere with the signals from the Orion 512 and the heaters. (Wi-Fi is not an issue, it is only mains borne signal internet adaptors). Try unplugging all the internet home plug adaptors to see if the heaters then start to respond.
