Testing the FX down flow heaters with the cover will likely result in the operation of the products internal thermal fuse due to insufficient airflow across the element. The thermal fuse is a safety device designed to operate/blow in the event that the product overheats, therefore, preventing further damage. This is a single use component and is not available as a spare part.
NOTE: Operation of the thermal fuse is not considered a fault, and is therefore not covered under the guarantee. Replacement product will be required.
