Do I need to use the included floor temperate sensor with the DTB2R when controlling IRP Panels?

No, the DTB2R does not use this probe when controlling IRP panels.

See instruction provided with the controller. The controller needs to be set up in the Start Wizard as “Sensor – Room Sensor” when setting up the DTB2R for the first time.
