T_Water error is displayed on the Edel cylinder. What does this mean?

Modified on Mon, 25 Sep, 2023 at 3:20 PM

If T_Water error is displayed on the cylinder on its own accord, then the cylinder is indicating that the hot water temperature sensor appears to be misreading.

This will require a service visit to resolve.

It is recommended that the below parts are taken:

X-B1244096  Main PCB

 X-B1244575 (temp probe 10kOhm 1200mm)

This applies to the Edel 170, 200 & 270 cylinders.

Note: It is impossible to ask for the backup to run if there is a T_Water fault as the hot water cylinder cannot safely energise the immersion element, if it cannot detect the current hot water temperature.

Note if you have your Edel set as a language other than English the error may display as -

SOND E EAU (French)

T_WA SSER (German)

SOND.ACQUA (Italian)

TEMP.WODY (Polish)

T_WA TER (Dutch)

T_AGUA_ER(Spanish)

T_VODA (Slovakian, Slovene, Czech, Croatian, Serbian)

SOND T.AR (Portuguese)

VANN TEMP (Norwegian)

VIZ HOM (Hungarian)

TEMP.EUJIT (Albanian)
