My Edel hot water heat pump is making a noise, is this normal?

Modified on Wed, 27 Nov at 4:58 PM

It is normal for the Edel hot water heat pumps to make some noise due to the fan motor and compressor housed in the upper section of the product. The normal level of noise from the product is comparable to that of a fridge freezer, as it uses the same refrigeration technology and as such uses a compressor to achieve efficient operation.

Room acoustics, materials and the environment where the product is installed can sometimes amplify noise levels. Additionally, air duct type and material may also carry/amplify the normal operational noise levels.
