What liquid is used in my towel rail?

Modified on Thu, 26 Sep at 11:39 AM

The following towel rails (manufactured since 2015) use a 85%/15% mixture of water/glycol. In normal operation, the fluid within the towel rail is sealed in place.

If, in the unlikely instance that there is a leak, see attached MSDS safety datasheet for the 15% glycol. If there is a leak, the towel rail cannot be safely be refilled at home, as the filling process is done in a controlled environment to ensure correct expansion during use.
