To amend a preset programmed or set a new programme, you will need to follow the below steps.
- Press and hold the ‘CLOCK’ button for approximately 3 seconds.
- Select the desired day you’d like to amend and press down on the dial.
- Highlight ‘NEW PROG’ and press down on the dial.
- You should then be able to amend the end of the first timed period.
It should show 00:00 - _ _ _ _ , you will just need to amend so the timings reflect the desired preferences.
Example: This example is based on end users showering/high hot water usage in the morning.
0000-0800 ECO
0800-1200 COMF
1200-2100 ECO
2100-2400 COMF
If you would like to copy the programme to other days, highlight the ‘COPY SUN’ (this will be dependent on the day you have just set, could be MON, TUE, WED, THR, FRI, SAT or SUN), press down the dial, ‘COPY PROG’, press down the dial the ‘MODIFY PR’, press down the dial and then finally highlight ‘SEE PROG.’ and press the dial to see the existing programme.
Note:
- Whilst you can define a program, it is still also OK to simply select 0000-2400 COMF for every day of the week. The cylinder will only switch on the compressor to reheat water back to the set point if there is a 5 degree drop in water temperature.
- We also recommend the Edel to be set to comfort (COMF) mode from approximately 21:45 to 24:00 to ensure the Legionella Cycle can be completed. If the unit is not set to COMF, then ANTIBAC error will appear on the display. See below link if you get this error message.
