Why is condensation forming on the inside or outside of the ducting?

Modified on Tue, 11 Apr, 2023 at 11:37 AM

Condensation is a natural phenomenon that occurs when moisture-packed warm air comes into contact with a cold surface, it cools down quickly and releases the water, which turns into liquid droplets on the cold surface.

We recommend condensate traps to be fitted on vertical ducting to help reduce condensation from getting back into the product.

Must ensure installed as per manufactures instructions ie the correct ducting is used which would minimise condensation forming.
