How do you wire the 4 inch timer extractor fans, like the C4TS/R or the DX100TS/R?

Modified on Tue, 4 Apr, 2023 at 11:20 AM

Most of the Xpelair timer fans require a permanent Live and Neutral from an isolation switch, as well as a Switched Live to the T terminal. It is recommended that your installer refers to the individual instructions for the specific product for guidance. Below is an example of how a basic timer fan should be wired.

NOTE: It is recommended to run a separate wire to the T terminal in order to reduce the chance of induced/phantom voltage.
