How do I operate my older CXL/N manual storage heater?

Modified on Thu, 26 Sep at 11:28 AM

The CXL/N heaters are combination heaters. They are both a storage heater (using overnight cheap electricity to heat a brick core) and also have an additional boost element on the front of the heater that uses daytime electricity which can be switched on manually if a top up of heat is needed.

If you have an older Dimplex CXL/N storage heater, see the attached instructions.

We also have a video explaining how to use the controls on the "XL" style heater. The CXL has the same controls on the top of the heater as the XL to work the storage side of the heater. The CXL also has additional controls on the front for the convector, which are described in the User Guide.
