Why is my dehumidifier leaking?

Modified on Tue, 8 Aug, 2023 at 12:04 PM

If your dehumidifier is leaking and not collecting the water into the tank, check the following;

  1. Ensure unit is on a flat and stable surface. For example, it is not half on a rug and half on laminate flooring.
  2. Carry out a clean of the filter.
  3. Check there are no cracks/damage to the water tank.
    • Dry off the tank, fill up with water and leave on the draining board for a couple of hours, to see if the tank leaks.
  4. If your dehumidifier has continuous drain, ensure the drainage hose is not blocked.

If product is still leaking following the above steps then for  In guarantee- see below additional help link.
