This will be dependent upon your needs and heat demand throughout the day. If you’re out of the house for most of the day, Schedule mode may be best suited to you. This setting gives four periods of heat which are optimal for energy saving when you’re out of the house from the morning to the evening. It has the heater come on at 21°C from 07:00 to 09:00, stay at 7°C from 10:00 to 12:00 then 13:00 to 15:00 (for the purpose of frost protection) and return to 21°C from 17:00 to 21:00.
If you require heat on demand, as the hours at which you’re home vary, manual mode may be best suited to you. With this, you can set a comfortable temperature and have the heater maintain it until you choose to turn it up, down or off. If you want to leave the unit in Schedule mode but require heat outside of the set hours, you can simply press ‘advance’ and set the desired temperature temporarily.
